How to use this book

Welcome to Dwelling in Peace — a 12-month weekly planner designed for Christians who want to bring their faith, their prayers, and their daily lives together in one intentional space. This planner is built on a simple conviction: that a life organized around prayer and Scripture is a life lived with more peace, more purpose, and more awareness of God's hand at work in the ordinary.

Each month begins with a Prayer Tracker — a 31-row grid where you can record every prayer topic you are bringing before God throughout the month. In the first column, write the day you began praying. In the wide middle column, write the specific person, situation, or concern you are lifting up. The final two columns — Answered and Ongoing — are yours to check as God moves. Keep this tracker visible at the start of each week as a reminder to return to your ongoing prayers and to mark the ones God has answered. Over time, this page becomes one of the most faith-building records you will keep.

Following the Prayer Tracker for each month, you will find four weekly spreads — two facing pages for each week. The left-side page covers Monday through Wednesday. For each day, write the date, your top priority, your task and appointment lines, and a single prayer for the day. This daily prayer line is small on purpose — it is not a journal entry, but a one-sentence, honest offering: the one thing you most want to bring before God as the day begins.

The right-side page covers Thursday through Sunday. At the top of this page is the Scripture of the Week box — the single most important practice in this planner. Choose one verse or passage at the start of each week and write it here. Carry it with you mentally throughout the week. Let it shape your prayers, your decisions, and the way you engage with difficulty and delight. Below the daily planning rows for Thursday through Sunday, you will find the Prayer Intentions section — a longer space for the prayers that don't fit in a single sentence. Use this section for intercession, for extended personal prayer, for petitions you are pressing in on persistently.

There are also Notes pages at the close of each month — open, lined space for sermon notes, Scripture thoughts, answers to prayer you want to record, or reflections on what God has been doing in your life.

Come to this planner as a worshiper, not a manager. The goal is not a perfectly filled page — it is a life increasingly oriented toward God, week by week, month by month, page by page.
