Welcome to the Social Media Posts Planner — a nine-month system for creators, entrepreneurs, and marketers who want to stop posting reactively and start building a content strategy that works across every platform at once. Whether you are active on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, or all four, this planner gives you the structure to plan ahead, write in batches, track your results, and grow with intention.
Each month opens with a Monthly Goals page. Before you plan a single post, set your goals for the month — the platforms you are prioritizing, your target posting frequency for each, and the content themes or campaigns you want to lead with. The platform checkboxes and frequency table at the top of this page give you a one-glance view of your commitments for the month. Filling in this page first means every post you plan is connected to a purpose.
The Monthly Content Calendar follows. This full-page calendar grid maps your publishing schedule across all platforms for the entire month. Each day cell includes small platform indicator boxes — IG, TT, PIN, FB — so you can mark which platforms you are posting to on each day. Use this page to spot gaps in your schedule, balance your content across platforms, and avoid over-posting or going quiet.
Next come four Platform Tracker pages, one for each major platform. Each tracker is a rows-and-columns table where you log every post planned for that platform during the month. Instagram and Facebook trackers capture your post date, post type, caption draft, and hashtags or CTA links. The TikTok tracker focuses on video concept, hook and script notes, and trending audio to research. The Pinterest tracker captures pin title, description, and board or keyword targets. Fill in the relevant tracker as you plan posts for each platform — these pages become your month-end record of every piece of content you created and where it was distributed.
Four Weekly Batch Writing Workspace pages follow the platform trackers — one workspace per week of the month. Each workspace is divided into five columns for Monday through Friday, with a caption writing area and a visual notes section for each day. Use these pages in dedicated batch writing sessions: sit down once or twice a week and draft all your captions, hooks, and post concepts in one focused block rather than writing one post at a time. Batching is one of the most effective habits for staying consistent without burning out.
The Monthly Performance Summary closes out each month. Four stat boxes at the top capture your total posts published, total reach, total engagement, and your top-performing post for the month. The platform breakdown table below gives you a row for each platform where you record followers, average reach, engagement rate, and your best post. The bottom section provides space for two reflections: what worked well this month and what you want to improve or test next month. Review this page before you set goals for the following month — your best future strategy is always built on your past data.
Each month also includes a notes page for ideas that come up mid-month, content angles worth exploring, audience feedback, or anything else that does not belong inside a specific tracker or workspace.
The final six pages of the planner are additional lined notes pages, available for broader brainstorming, content pillar planning, campaign ideation, or anything you want to capture outside the structured monthly pages.
Nine months. Every platform. One system.
